What a video reply looks like

Real questions, the context they gave me, and the video I recorded for them.

The question

I shut down my startup two months ago and I have a good corporate offer. Is taking it giving up?

The context

I spent 2 and a half years building a logistics SaaS for small businesses with my cofounder, who's also my best friend from school (things got kinda weird between us after the shutdown, but that's another story haha).

We got to $1,800 MRR and stayed stuck there for a whole year. We tried everything: changing niches, lowering prices, social media marketing... nothing moved the needle. I burned like $30K of my savings (money that was supposed to be the down payment on an apartment).

Two weeks ago I got an offer for a tech lead role at a bank. Good salary, good team from what I saw in the interviews. My mom is happy. And I feel ashamed even to update my LinkedIn lol.

The part that confuses me the most: a part of me feels RELIEF at the idea of a steady paycheck and sleeping well. And then I feel guilty for feeling that relief, like it's proof I was never a real founder.

I'm scared that if I accept, I'll get comfortable and never try again.

The question

I'm 19 and nothing excites me. Everyone says "follow your passion" and I don't have one. What do you do when there's no passion to follow?

The context

I graduated from high school a year and a half ago. I didn't get into the public university and there's no money at home for a private one, so I've spent the past year at a call center selling phone plans, 8 hours a day.

My friends are all on their way somewhere: one is studying medicine, another left the country, a friend started her own nail business and it's going well. I get home from work, watch YouTube until dawn, and go to bed feeling guilty. I've tried stuff: a free programming course (got bored after a month), the gym (quit), video editing (two weeks). Nothing sticks, and I'm starting to think I'm the broken one.

My mom keeps asking what I'm going to study and I make up answers so she won't worry. I found your channel searching "what to study when you don't know what you like". I don't know if this question is too dumb compared to the ones you usually get, but it's the only one I have.
